Dr. Refaat El-Said

Refaat El-Said, M.D.
Board Certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Sleep Medicine; Assistant Professor of Neurology, UCF

Dr. El-Said successfully treats patients with a variety of neurological and sleep concerns. Since his patients’ well-being is his prime concern, he is thorough in his diagnostic methods. This has led to dramatic results for his patients.

He received training in neurology and clinical neurophysiology at Vanderbilt University. He studied Clinical Neurophysiology with a special emphasis on epilepsy management, including epilepsy surgery and Vagal nerve stimulation (VNS.) He specialized in the treatment of epilepsy disorders, including preoperative preparation for epilepsy surgery and VNS treatment.

Dr. El-Said has training and certification in sleep medicine. He currently directs Comprehensive Neurology Clinic’s 4-bed sleep lab.


Dr. Dina Dahan

Dina Dahan, M.D.
Board Certified in Child Neurology and Pediatrics; Assistant Professor of Neurology, UCF

Dr. Dahan is best known for her record of effectively managing pediatric epilepsy cases with the least possible side affects. She is able to help most patients achieve and maintain seizure-free status.

Her training as a pediatrician was completed at Michigan State University.

Dr. Dahan was trained in child neurology at Vanderbilt University. As a Fellow, she had ample training in the treatment of epilepsy. Her expertise is in the management of epilepsy, including the use of VNS.

As a wife and a mother, she well knows the concerns of her patients and their families. She demonstrates great care and compassion for each of her patients.

She is well-equipped to accurately diagnose and treat neurological disorders including epilepsy, autism, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, headache, syncope, and ADHD in children.
